Passionate Homemaking began as a family update blog in late 2007, after the birth of our first child, and grew into a wonderful ministry encouraging other young mothers in motherhood, homemaking, and natural living with a large readership up till 2013, when insomnia, anxiety, and depression lead me into a season of stepping back and focusing on my priorities in the home front. I took a lengthy sabbatical to work through my struggles, seek help and counseling, and refocus on my children during this season. But my love for writing and recommending helpful resources to women continued as a dream I had to put on the back shelf for awhile.
In January 2019, I was blessed and delighted to relaunch the blog in hopes that God would continue to use it as a place to inspire, encourage, and offer helpful resources for this beautiful calling of motherhood and home education.
My current passions include Charlotte Mason flavored homeschooling, cultivating a healthy lifestyle, books, serving the body of Christ through hospitality, and finding wonderful books and resources to share with others. You will find a mix of these topics here at Passionate Homemaking.
So glad you are here! Thanks for joining me in this journey!
